About

I am a runner, mountain biker, triathlete and general outdoors junkie.  I am also a devoted husband and father.  I am passionate about all things outdoors.   I live in the foothills of western north Carolina at the base of the Appalachian mountains.   I am close to the scenic blue ridge parkway, Moses Cone state park and the wild and scenic Wilsons Creek area.   I also have a great love for the southwest.  I have traveled to southern Utah the last 2 summers with visits to Arches National Park in Moab and Zion National Park in Springdale.  My wife and I also had an awesome rafting trip on the Colorado down the Cataract Canyon.
